Bali Zoo Park, a tropical wildlife in Paradise. It is the perfect
wildlife conservatory for 350 animals of tropical birds, mammals
and reptiles. Set in 3.5 hectare of naturalistic landscapes, the
park is spaciously built in 30,000 m2 with tall trees, long grasses
and thick vegetation, re-creating a natural habitat for the animals.
The zoo promotes an effective learning about wildlife conservation
especially for the children; it also acts as facilitation to reintroduce
the endangered animals.
The exhibits of mammals ranging from primates, deers, camel, kangaroos,
and Sumatran Tigers. The popular tropical birs such as Cassowary,

KINTAMANI VOLCANO TOUR
The most interesting mountain area is Gunung Batur, with it's
spectacular caldera containing a lake and numerous small craters.
To get to the hot springs at Toya Bunkah close to cross with traditional
boat to Trunyan, the village of Trunyan is squeezed tightly between
Lake Batur and the outer crater rim. This is a Bali Aga village,
inhabited by remnants of the original Balinese, the people who
predate the Majapahit arrival. A little beyond Trunyan, an accessible
only by the lake is the village cemetery at Kuban where is the
people of Trunyan do not cremate or bury their dead-they lie them

The spectacularly placed Tanah Lot is possibly the best known
and most photographed temple in Bali, especially at sunset. The
temple perchedon a little rocky islet, looks superb whether delicately
lit by the dawn light or starkly outlined at sunset. Tanah Lot
is closely associated with the 16th-century Majapahit priest Niratha.
It's said that Niratha passed by here and impressed with the tiny
island's superb setting, suggested to local villagers that this
would be a good place to construct a temple.
PURAT AMAN AYUN/ ROYAL
TEMPLE
The huge state temple of Pura Taman Ayun,
surrounded by a wide moat, was the main temple of the kingdom
which ruled from Mengwi until 1891. The temple was originally
built in 1634 and extensively renovated in 1937. It's a huge,
spacious temple and the elegant moat gives it a very fine appearance.

BOTANICAL GARDEN
The gardens were established in 1959 as a branch of the national
botanical gardens at Bogor, near Jakarta. They cover more than
120 hectares on the lower slopes of Gunung Pohon, and have an
collection of 650 trees and some 500 species of orchid. It's a
lovely place, cool, shady and scenic.
ULUN DANU BERATAN TEMPLE
This is the temple of lake Goddess who is much revered as source
of fertility, Pura Ulun Danu actually projecting into the lake,
is the Hindu/Buddhist temple. The temple, founded in the 17th
century, is dedicated to Dewi Danau, the goddes of the waters.
This temple and the Lake are very important by the Subak around
Tabanan Regency to waters their rice field.
WATERFALL GITGIT
Heading north from the Lake Bratan area, a very scenic road goes
to Singaraja, about 30 km away. On the way there's beautiful Gitgit
waterfall, west od the road just past Gitgit village, and follow
the concrete path between the rows of souvenir stall for about
500 metres and surrounded by lush of vegetation. A fine, cooling
mist hang in the air, providing refreshing welcome after the walk
down.
